Tonight’s scheduled maintenance to replace our power distribution unit was started at 12:30am central time and completed at 12:40am central time.  All systems are normal and the replacement was a success.  Thank you for your patience.

We will be replacing and upgrading our power distribution unit (PDU) tonight at midnight, 7/18/2008 00:00 Central (CDT).  This change will cause an approximate 10 minute total outage of all of our services, including the following:

• Easy Antispam Gateways - mail sent during this brief outage will queue on the sending server and be retried when our gateways come back up
• easyantispam.com - Main website, billing system, account manager, support system… all web properties.
• Telephone system - Our main telephone switch will be unavailable, causing our main numbers to not be available. Please call 224-558-3907 for emergencies only during this outage window.

This upgrade is being done to more reliably provide power distribution to our servers and better handle power utilization spikes.

The following services will be unavailable beginning Sunday, 12/16/2007 at midnight CDT for approximately 2 hours:

• Protectedmail.net Quarantine Management
• Account Manager

This maintenance is due to routine database maintenance and cleanup. Please contact support if you have any questions.

The scheduled maintenance this morning was started at approximately 1:00am central time and was completed at approximately 2:10am central time for all servers and gateways.  All systems are up and running with no issues at this time.

On Sunday, October 28th, 2007 from 1:00 am to 6:00 am CST, we will be performing maintenance on mf1 and mf2.  Our gateways will be moved to a new rack in the datacenter that we are currently housed in.

Please note that each gateway will only be down for about a half hour or so, and any mail will be spooled by the sending server so no messages will be lost during this time.

Additionally, our other servers, including those that house the easyantispam.com and protectedmail.net sites, will be migrated as well and will experience the same downtime stated above.

We will post an update here when the move is complete.
